What is a beard transplant?

A beard transplant is similar to a hair transplant, where the grafts are taken from the donor area (usually the back of the head) and implanted into the face. With this procedure, the density of the beard can be restored and a beard or mustache can be constructed. A beard transplant is only possible if the number of hairs in the donor area is sufficient.
