Q: Is the consumption of alcohol in any form permitted after hair transplantation?

It is strictly forbidden to consume alcohol for at least seven (7) days before the operation. After the procedure, we also recommend that you do not consume alcohol in any form for at least one week, as you will be taking medication such as painkillers and antibiotics and this combination will have a negative effect on your body.

Q: Is it possible to go to the gym or do sports after the operation?

After the hair transplant, you should not do any sport or strenuous physical activity for at least 4 weeks. After 2 weeks, moderate exercise is possible as long as you are not sweating profusely. Heavy physical activity increases blood pressure, which puts unnecessary strain on the new transplanted area. Also make sure that the transplanted area does not come into contact with hands or sports equipment and damage the transplant area. If you are a professional athlete or dependent on heavy physical activity, try to perform these activities alone for about 2 weeks to avoid the risk of unwanted contact with the treated area. Q: Is it necessary to shave the entire head for a hair transplant?

If possible, do not shave your hair close to the time of the hair transplant. In order to better plan the operation, our experts would like to assess your hair growth direction and density in advance. It is also important to mention that depending on the size of the transplant area, it may not be necessary to shave off all the hair. Regardless, it is recommended to shave the entire head immediately before the operation in order to create an ideal working basis for the hair transplant team to perform the procedure as effectively and precisely as possible. When it comes to your comfort after the operation, a full head shave is easier to maintain as it reduces possible itching and is more hygienic after the operation.

Q: How long do I have to wait to have my second hair transplant?

After the first operation, it takes around 10 months for everything to heal completely and a total of 12 months for the full result to be seen. If the second hair transplant is performed too early, the roots that have not yet grown can be damaged by the re-tapping of canals. We recommend that you wait about 15 months after the first operation until the full result is visible.

Q: What is a beard transplant?

A beard transplant is similar to a hair transplant, where the grafts are taken from the donor area (usually the back of the head) and implanted into the face. Q: What are the possible causes of hair loss in women?

Hair loss in women is mostly hormonal, followed by factors such as pregnancy, stress, lifestyle, emotional fluctuations, breastfeeding, illness or personal environmental factors. Furthermore, the chemicals in hair coloring products can promote hair loss.
